Dr. Russell J. GibsonGrowing up, Dr. Gibson owned a wide variety of animals. Still, after working several summers in a vet clinic, he quickly realized that he wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Gibson attended the University of Georgia and obtained a BSA in Animal Science. He quickly found his way into the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1982. After graduating, Dr. Gibson could not imagine any other place but home to have his practice. Through his veterinary practice, he has enjoyed working with and serving people and animals from almost every walk of life. While he does spend most of his time on dogs and cats, he gets occasional visits from horses, cows, hogs, goats, sheep, and some exotic animals
